HSE Manager

Position: Occupational/Health and Safety
Location: Melbourne North

A brilliant opportunity to join this global market leader in manufacturing. They are a dynamic and forward thinking business experiencing real growth and have a very strong blueprint for the future. They require the services of an experienced HSE Manager.

Reporting into senior management, the purpose of this role is to provide leadership and be able to influence across HSE and the Environment for 2 large manufacturing sites. You will be responsible for improving capability, performance and achieving established targets, working towards best HSE practices. You will continually nurture a culture of no injuries through developing and implementing strategic and operational plans.

To be eligible for this role, you will need to have strong HSE experience from the manufacturing sector. You will also need to demonstrate knowledge of all legal requirements and training in risk management. You are proactive, analytical with excellent communication and computer skills.

Project Manager 

Position: Project Management
Location: Sydney CBD

This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager within the civil construction space to utilise their previous delivery exposure on various mixed civil projects to the value of 100M. Our client is a Renowned mid tier contractor that offers super progression and the right further training and development.

Offering an excellent starting salary of $125,000 + super + vehicle the successful candidate will have an outstanding opportunity to grow within a reputable organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and monitor all safety matters for project and develop new quality documentation.
  • Liaise and co-ordinate the OHS polices.
  • Identify and maintain subcontractor’s workloads.
  • Engage in monthly meetings on site and at head office with senior management and clients.
  • Present reports for senior management and clients on financial status & progress of projects.
  • Oversee all set zone project objectives and ensure specifications are as originally agreed and are being achieved in accordance with project scope.
  • Successful delivery of all construction to several projects, consisting of a client base within water & power projects.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • University degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Previous Project Management delivery including, water treatment, substations and exposure to highway infrastructure.
  • We are looking for a PM with 10 years+ experience.

Human Resources Manager

Position: Generalist HR
Location: Melbourne CBD

This is an excellent role for a seasoned HR Manager who is looking for a position which accommodates work/life balance. This role requires someone who is looking to work 25 hrs a week, ideally 5 short days (but other arrangements can be discussed).

This is a very diverse role which requires a multi-skilled HR professional with a personal demeanour but has the ability to influence change.

Overview of the role
As an experienced HR Generalist you will possess superior technical skills across the range of hr activities including; workforce planning, talent attraction, staff retention, learning and development, performance management, change management, organisational design, employee engagement, hr metrics, counselling, policy design and implementation, and remuneration packaging and benchmarking.

You will be accountable for streamlining hr processes, systems and policies by ensuring information is kept up to date and is easily accessible by all staff.

The HR Manager will work with the Directors to assist them with the resolution of individual, team, divisional and organisational hr issues spanning the spectrum of people activities.

The incumbent will possess sound strategic management skills and be accomplished in developing HR and L&D plans, as well as being skilled at managing the implementation phase, with support from team members.

You will be able to translate business strategies into HR priorities and contribute towards the business operating as a profitable and sustainable accounting firm.

The HR Manager will work with the Directors and other members of the business in resolving operational issues, adopting open communication and assisting in the prompt resolution of staffing issues.

You will coach others on how to develop excellence in people management and how to create a dynamic and productive work environment.
 
You will manage a small team of hr and administration personnel.
